Frosted Fact: Since gifting us with this record on Christmas day, Daire has managed to rack up over 20,000 streams on Spotify and secure a place on the “New Music Friday UK” playlist. The only way is up for this young artist.
Alex Gough – FOOL
Genre: Alternative Hip-Hop
Frosted Fact: “‘FOOL” was a spontaneous creation for Alex. The idea sparked as they were scrolling through different plug-ins and sample packs, before coming across one that caught his attention. The basis for the track was then formed after messing around whilst waiting for food. “Sometimes the best moments are the ones you don’t expect”, he says.
Skripteh Ft. Dubzeno & JonnoAQ – Secure the Bag (New Machine remix)
County: Wexford / Dublin / London
Frosted Fact: This Irish and UK link up has completely revamped the original song as each artist delivers an ice-cold verse. Thankfully, this won’t be the last time we see Skripteh and Dubzeno collaborate. The duo have both teased that they will be dropping another track together with a feature from the illustrious Maverick Sabre.

Alicia Raye & Ali Maria – Stumbling
Genre: Trap-Soul / R&B
County: Louth / Dublin
Frosted Fact: This single was released under Trust It Entertainment as part of their compilation mixtape entitled “Obviously, Vol.1”, featuring a range of their budding artists. Alicia Raye and newcomer, Ali Maria, flaunt their talent as their styles mesh seamlessly to create a smooth anthem. Give it a listen!

KhakiKid – Relaxxx
Genre: Hip-Hop / Punk Rap
Frosted Fact: KhakiKid is a member of the blossoming Good Buzz collective, playing Longitude main stage with them last Summer. His first ever headline show in Whelan’s is fast approaching, get your tickets while you still can!
Jehnova – Latency
Frosted Fact: Jehnova is a member of the Dublin-based rap group, Nuxsense. At Longitude 2019, he performed alongside Nealo and also stood in as a hype man for the well-known Denzel Curry.
Ojo the Kidd – Show U
Genre: R&B / Afro
Frosted Fact: Ojo the Kidd launched his career at the young age of 13 and went on to win local rap battles. This led to national press coverage of his ability to spit thought-provoking flows. “Show U”, which is also off Trust It’s “Obviously, Vol.1” mixtape, really showcases his versatility and knack for creating catchy melodies. Watch this space.
Yake Loga – Tango
Frosted Fact: Yake Loga originally made a name for himself as part of the hip-hop duo, NEOMADiC, along with his friend Dyramid. Together, the lads released an album and played several shows. However, after moving to Canada, he took time to work on his sound and release some solo tunes. The inspiration for this cut came from the feeling you get when you first meet someone you find attractive, which gave him an image of an “intimate back and forth dance between two people”.
Uppbeat Ft. John Gibbons – 2020
Genre: Dance / Pop
Frosted Fact: This is Uppbeat’s first single that he has had signed to a label. He recruited the assistance of established DJ, John Gibbons, who has played sets with the likes of Justin Bieber and Tiesto. What a way to start the year!

Owen Alfred – Blue Lights
Frosted Fact: Owen represents the emerging LMK group, which is short for Limerick, the county they all hail from. Under the guidance of HYB Records, he is sure to make some waves this year.
