R3d began his musical journey producing out of his homegrown studio for other acts. Influence from his peers led him to start exploring his own artistry more. He has now developed a unique sound, drawing inspiration from West Coast rap, trap and nineties RnB.

R3D desired to create a feeling that makes you want to move, much like his idols Pharell Williams and Kanye West have done in the past. “I wanted to give people a chance to get to know me as an artist. I’m 1st generation, Irish-born from Nigerian parents, learning what it means to fit in. This song is about explaining that there is no status quo, redefining and cultivating culture. I produced the beat myself, and I feel I’ve really injected my personality into it. I like to add samples and sound bites to relay my message, showing my playful style.”

β€œThe collaboration came about naturally. From my time in the Irish music industry, I’ve gotten the opportunity to network with many other artists, who are now my friends. After I’d made the beat and recorded my 1st verse, I showed it to a few of my mates. I had originally planned for it to be solo track with 2 other verses, but when I showed Txmmy and Max, they felt it was hot and wanted to drop a verse. I said calm, and we had a track”

Make sure to check the song out on all major streaming platforms and follow R3D to keep up to date with his future releases.
